Sallins (Irish: Na Solláin) is a town in County Kildare, Ireland, situated 3.5 km north of the town centre of Naas, from which it is separated by the M7 motorway. Sallins is the anglicised name of Na Solláin which means “the willows”.

In the official Central Statistics Office census of 2016, Sallins had a population of 5,849 people. The town expanded rapidly between the 2002 and 2016 censuses, almost doubling the population (from 2,922 to 5,849 people) between those years. It is the ninth largest settlement in Kildare and the 78th largest in Ireland.
Sallins grew as a result of its position on both the Grand Canal and the Dublin to Cork railway line. Historically, the major employers in the town were Odlums Flour Mills and a meat factory, although both have now closed.

Theobald Wolfe Tone is buried near Sallins in Bodenstown graveyard. Each summer, Irish republicans of various political and paramilitary groupings congregate at Sallins to hold commemorations at Tone’s grave.

Spray Painting Services in Sallins

Are you contemplating giving your house or business a fresh look? Do you need to fix water stains on ceilings and walls or over walls where mold was eliminated? It may be tempting to do the job yourself, which may lead to cost savings. But, there are lots of reasons you should consider hiring a professional painter and decorator service.

Prices of Equipment

Good painting of either interiors or exteriors necessitates an investment in equipment — brushes, rollers, sprayers, tarp to shield surfaces and floors, ladders, scaffolding, sanders, compound knifes, patching materials, solvents, the list can quickly become long and pricey. Hiring a professional painter and decorator usually means that the painter comes with of the tools they will require to do the job properly, will wash those tools up when they are done and will require them away to be stored elsewhere.

Protection of Your Premises and Preventing a Mess

A professional painter and decorator will have the ideal equipment and be educated and experienced with how to protect furniture, floors, cupboards, paths and other items which you don’t need painted out of any damage. If your job involves staining, a professional will have the correct equipment and experience to apply the stain correctly to attain the right finish and once achieved, shield the finish.
A professional painter may also thoroughly clean up the work area when the project is completed.

Preparation is Key

A professional painter and painter is going to learn that preparation is the key to a great looking, long-lasting paint job. Areas with mold or water staining may require additional therapy and patching before they are ready for a final paint job. It is a lot of work and if it’s not done properly with proper tools and methods, it won’t lead to a quality finish.

Skills and Patience

Painting requires patience to produce a beautiful excellent finish and it also takes skill that is developed with practice and expertise. A professional will learn how to finish each of the preparation and painting tasks required to reach the best outcome.

A professional painter will also understand the materials which are required to perform the job correctly. Which primer will provide the right coverage? Latex or oil? Which primer foundation is demanded? What paint base? Should the wall be well prepared with drywall compound or plaster? Roller or spray?
A professional painter will be able to recommend materials which are best to achieve the look you need, while avoiding any damage to your surfaces. With this information, you can attain a higher quality finish that will last.
For outdoor tasks, a professional will know the right weather, temperature and sunlight conditions to finish the job with the best outcomes. Stains react differently in direct sunshine than when it’s overcast, and at several temperatures. While rain clearly impacts the job, heat and humidity may also affect the quality of outside paint finishes.

Security

Increasing on ladders while attempting to apply paint correctly is a skilled job that takes careful focus and attention to prevent serious harm and damage. The greater the site that needs painting, the higher the risk for an accident. For inside projects with large areas or exterior jobs, a professional painter may have all the resources and expertise necessary to do the work safely and correctly, including the right dimensions and design of the ladder and scaffolding.

Convenience

Your time is valuable and painting yourself requires a substantial quantity of time. Using a professional painter and decorator deal with the work for you can save you days and days of effort, and can usually be done in a far shorter period of time.
A study from Trinity College Dublin suggests that the average Irish person requires 28 hours per day to accomplish all of his or her tasks. Avoid including a paint job to this and talk to a professional painter about your requirements.
