Summerhill (Irish: Cnoc an Línsigh) is a designated heritage village in County Meath, Ireland. It is located at the intersection of the R156 and R158 regional roads and is part of the Laracor civil parish. The Irish version of the town’s name means “Lynch’s Hill”, and it was the ancestral home of the Norman-Irish Lynch family, whence came the Galway merchant family of the same name – one of the “Tribes of Galway”. It is also the site of one of the most important battles in 17th century Ireland, the Battle of Dungan’s Hill. The town was known in English as ‘The Knock’ or ‘Lynchs’ Knock’ (phonetic renderings of Cnoc an Línsigh, Lynchs’ hill) until about 1667 when it was renamed Summerhill. The ruins of the large Lynch castle can be seen in the village today.

Painting Contractors Services in Summerhill, County Meath
Are you contemplating giving your house or business a new look? Do you need to fix water stains on ceilings and walls or over walls in which mold has been eliminated? It could be tempting to do the task yourself, which can result in cost savings. However, there are lots of reasons you should consider hiring a professional painter and decorator service.
Prices of Equipment
Employing a professional painter and decorator means that the painter comes will all of the tools they will require to do the work properly, will wash up those tools when they’re completed and will require them away to be saved elsewhere.
Protection of Your Premises and Preventing a Mess
A professional painter and decorator will have the ideal equipment and be educated and experienced with how to protect furniture, flooring, cupboards, paths and other things which you don’t want painted from any damage. If your job entails staining, an expert will have the right equipment and expertise to use the stain correctly to achieve the perfect finish and once achieved, shield the finish.
A professional painter will even thoroughly clean up the work area when the project is completed.
Preparation is Essential
An expert painter and painter will know that preparation is the key to a good looking, long lasting paint job. Areas with water or mold staining may require further treatment and patching before they are ready for a final paint job. It is a good deal of work and if it is not done properly with appropriate instruments and methods, it will not result in a quality finish.
Skills and Patience
Painting requires patience to produce a gorgeous quality finish and it also takes skill that is developed with training and experience. An expert will understand how to finish each of the preparation and painting jobs required to reach the best outcome.
Back in Dublin, there are a number of choices a professional painter and decorator may start for you, which you could not have the skills or experience to do yourself, including special finishes (intumescent finishes (that can be fireproof), faux finishes and textured painting, by way of instance ).
A professional painter may also understand the materials that are required to do the work correctly. Which primer will offer the correct coverage? Oil or latex? Which primer foundation is required? What paint base? Spray or roller?
A professional painter will be able to recommend materials which are better to get the look you want, while avoiding any damage to your surfaces. With that advice, you can achieve a higher quality finish that will endure.
For exterior jobs, a specialist will understand the right weather, temperature and sunlight conditions to complete the job with all the best results. Stains react differently in direct sunshine than when it is overcast, and at different temperatures. While rain clearly affects the job, humidity and heat may also impact the quality of exterior paint finishes. A regional expert painter will understand the proper materials to use to make your exterior last as long as you can in Dublin’s climate.
Climbing on ladders while attempting to apply paint correctly is a skilled job that takes careful focus and attention to avoid severe harm and damage. The higher the site which needs painting, the higher the danger of an accident. For inside projects with high areas or exterior jobs, a professional painter will have all the tools and expertise required to do the work correctly and safely, including the proper size and design of ladder and scaffolding.
Your time is valuable and painting yourself takes a substantial quantity of time. Having a professional painter and decorator deal with the work for you can save you days and times of effort, and can normally be done in a much shorter period of time.
A research from Trinity College Dublin indicates the average Irish person needs 28 hours per day to accomplish all of his or her tasks. Prevent adding a paint job into that and speak to a professional painter about your needs.
