Greystones (Irish: Na Clocha Liatha) is a coastal town and seaside resort in County Wicklow, Ireland. It lies on Ireland’s east coast, 3.5 km (2.2 mi) south of Bray and 24 km (15 mi) south of Dublin city centre and has a population of 18,140 (2016). The town is bordered by the Irish Sea to the east, Bray Head to the north and the Wicklow Mountains to the west. It is the second biggest town in the county (after Bray).

The town was named after a half-mile or one-kilometre stretch of grey stones between two beaches on the seafront. The harbour area and Greystones railway station are at the northern and southern ends respectively. The North Beach, which begins at the harbour, is a stony beach, and some of its length is overlooked by the southern cliffs of Bray Head, which are subject to erosion. The South Beach is a broad sandy beach about one kilometre long. It is a Blue Flag beach and receives many visitors and tourists, mainly in the summer.

In 2008, Greystones was named as the world’s “most liveable community” at the LivCom Awards in China.

Painters Services in Greystones

Are you contemplating giving your house or business a fresh look? Do you have to repaint after a tenant has vacated your property? Do you have to fix water stains on ceilings and walls or over walls where mold has been removed? It may be tempting to do the task yourself, which may lead to cost savings. But, there are many reasons you should consider selecting a professional painter and decorator service.

Costs of Equipment

Hiring a professional painter and decorator means that the painter comes with the tools that they will require to do the work correctly, will wash up those tools when they’re completed and will require them away to be saved elsewhere.

Protection of Your Property and Avoiding a Mess

A professional painter and decorator will have the ideal gear and be educated and experienced with the way to shield furniture, flooring, cupboards, paths and other items that you don’t need painted out of any harm. If your job involves staining, an expert will have the right equipment and expertise to apply the stain correctly to achieve the perfect finish and once attained, protect that finish.
A professional painter may even completely clean up the work area once the project is completed.

Planning is Key

An expert painter and painter will know that preparation is the key to a good looking, long lasting paint job. The walls or other surfaces which need to be painted might need to be thoroughly cleaned, repaired, decreased and/or primed. Areas with mold or water staining may require further treatment and patching before they are ready for a last paint job. It’s a good deal of work and if it’s not done correctly with proper instruments and techniques, it won’t result in an excellent finish.

Skills and Patience

Painting requires patience to generate a gorgeous quality finish and it also takes skill that is developed with practice and expertise. An expert will learn how to complete all the preparation and painting tasks required to reach the best outcome.

A professional painter may also know the substances that are needed to do the work right. Which primer will provide the correct coverage? Latex or oil? Which primer base is demanded? What paint base? Spray or roller?
A professional painter will be able to recommend materials which are best to get the look you need, while avoiding any harm to your surfaces. With that advice, you can attain a greater quality finish that will last.
For exterior jobs, a specialist will know the ideal weather, temperature and sunlight conditions to finish the job with all the best outcomes. Stains react differently in direct sunshine than when it’s overcast, and at several temperatures. While rain clearly affects the job, heat and humidity can also affect the quality of outside paint finishes. A regional professional painter will understand the right stuff to use to produce your exterior last as long as possible in Dublin’s climate.

Safety

Climbing on ladders while trying to apply paint correctly is a skilled job that takes careful attention and focus to avoid severe injury and harm. The greater the site that needs painting, the higher the risk for an crash. For interior projects with large areas or exterior jobs, a professional painter may have all the resources and experience required to perform the work safely and correctly, including the proper size and layout of ladder and scaffolding.

Convenience

Your time is precious and painting yourself takes a substantial amount of time. Having a professional painter and decorator take care of the work for you can save you days and days of effort, and can usually be achieved in a far shorter period of time.
A research from Trinity College Dublin suggests the average Irish man needs 28 hours per day to accomplish all his or her tasks. Avoid including a paint job into that and talk to a professional painter about your needs.
