Are you considering giving your house or business a new look? Do you need to fix water stains on walls and ceilings or over walls in which mold was removed? It may be tempting to do the job yourself, which may lead to cost savings. But, there are lots of reasons you should consider hiring a professional painter and decorator support.

Costs of Equipment

Employing a professional painter and decorator means that the painter comes will all the tools they will need to perform the job correctly, will wash up those tools when they’re completed and will take them away to be stored elsewhere.

Protection of Your Property and Preventing a Mess

A professional painter and decorator will have the right gear and be knowledgeable and knowledgeable about how to protect furniture, flooring, cabinets, walkways and other things which you don’t want painted from any damage. If your work involves staining, an expert will have the correct equipment and expertise to apply the stain correctly to achieve the perfect finish and once achieved, protect that finish.
A professional painter will also completely clean the work area once the project is completed.

Preparation is Key

An expert painter and painter will know that preparation is the key to a good looking, long lasting paint job. The walls or other surfaces that have to be painted might need to be thoroughly cleaned, repaired, degreased and/or primed. Areas with water or mold staining may require further treatment and diluting until they are ready for a final paint job. It’s a good deal of work and if it is not done properly with appropriate tools and methods, it will not result in an excellent finish.

Skills and Patience

Painting requires patience to produce a beautiful excellent finish and it also takes skill that is developed with training and expertise. An expert will understand how to complete all their preparation and painting jobs required to reach the best outcome.
Back in Dublin, there are a number of choices a professional painter and decorator can start for you, which you could not have the skills or expertise to do yourself, including special finishes (intumescent finishes (that are fireproof), faux finishes and textured painting, for example).
A professional painter may also know the substances that are needed to do the work correctly. Which primer will provide the correct coverage? Latex or oil? Matte, semi-gloss, high gloss? Which primer foundation is required? What paint foundation? If the wall be well prepared with drywall compound or plaster? Roller or spray?
A professional painter will have the ability to recommend materials that are better to achieve the look you want, while avoiding any damage to your surfaces. With that information, you can achieve a greater quality finish that will last.
For outdoor tasks, a specialist will know the right weather, temperature and sunlight conditions to complete the job with the best outcomes. Stains respond differently in direct sunshine than when it is overcast, and at different temperatures. While rain clearly affects the job, heat and humidity can also impact the quality of exterior paint finishes.

Security

Increasing on ladders while trying to apply paint correctly is a skilled job that requires careful attention and focus to avoid serious injury and harm. The greater the site which requires painting, the higher the risk for an accident. For interior projects with high areas or exterior jobs, a professional painter may have all the resources and expertise necessary to perform the job safely and correctly, including the proper dimensions and design of ladder and scaffolding.

Convenience

Your time is valuable and painting yourself requires a significant amount of time. Having a professional painter and decorator take care of the work for you can save you days and times of effort, and can normally be achieved in a much shorter period of time.
A study from Trinity College Dublin suggests that the average Irish man needs 28 hours per day to accomplish all his or her tasks. Avoid including a paint job into that and talk to a professional painter about your requirements.
